Who we are

Waddlecaps is made by Slate Oak LLC, a Texas company. You can reach us at support@waddlecaps.com.

Your game progress stays on your device

Your levels, stars, settings and unlocked items are saved on your device, and in your device backups if you use them. We can't see them. Deleting the game deletes them.

Game Center (optional)

You can play the whole game without Game Center. If you sign in to Game Center, the game sends your scores to Apple's Game Center leaderboards, where other players can see your Game Center nickname and scores, depending on your Game Center settings. If you allow it, the game uses your Game Center friends list on your device to show your friends' scores and to unlock the friend dances (for example, when a friend also plays). Achievements you earn are recorded by Game Center. None of this is copied to any server of ours. You can sign out or change what others see in your device's Game Center settings.

Purchases

Apple handles every purchase. We never see your payment details, your name or your Apple Account. The game only asks Apple, on your device, what you've bought so it can unlock it. Refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.

Sharing

If you tap Share, you choose where your result goes. We don't receive it.

Crash reports

If you've chosen to share analytics with app developers in your device settings, Apple may give us crash reports and usage statistics that don't identify you. You can turn this off in Settings > Privacy & Security > Analytics & Improvements.

If you email us

We receive your email address and whatever you write, and we use them only to reply to you. Our email passes through Cloudflare and is stored by Google (Gmail). We keep messages only as long as we need them to help you and to keep normal business records.

This website

waddlecaps.com has no cookies, ads or analytics. Our web host, Cloudflare, processes technical information such as your IP address to deliver the pages and protect the site from attacks.

Children

Waddlecaps is rated 13+ on the App Store. We don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children. Parents can manage Game Center, purchases (Ask to Buy) and screen time with Apple's Screen Time and Family Sharing. If you think a child has sent us personal information, for example in an email, tell us and we'll delete it.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, for example the EU, the UK or California, you may have the right to see, correct or delete personal information about you. The only personal information we could have is a support email you sent us. Ask and we'll help. For your Game Center and App Store information, use Apple's Data & Privacy page. If you're in the EU or UK, we handle support emails because you asked us to help you, and you can also complain to your local data protection authority.

No selling, no ads

We don't sell or share personal information, and we don't use it for advertising.

Changes

If the way Waddlecaps handles information changes, we'll update this page and the date at the top. For a big change, we'll also say so in the app's update notes.
